Description

Advasil Conform is a sheet of medical grade, self-adherent silicone gel for the management of scar tissue or recently healed wounds. Silicone gel sheets are reported to help reduce the effects of scarring if worn for prolonged periods. Hypertrophic and keloid scarring may particularly benefit from Advasil Conform.

Composed of a conformable layer of translucent Silfix silicone gel approved for skin contact, and a smooth polyurethane outer layer, Advasil Conform reduces pain and trauma at dressing changes, improving wear ability and patient compliance.

Advasil Conform is supplied sterile for improved hygiene, it is also washable and can be used for up to 28 days once open.

Indications
For the management of hypertrophic scars and keloid scars.

Contra-indications

Not to be used on open wounds. Not to be used on patients with dermatological conditions and/or where the skin is broken. Do not use if allergic to silicone.
